2025 Boat of the Year: The Runner Ups

Boat of the Year testing for 2025was conducted in February in St. Petersburg, Florida and Annapolis, Maryland, this year, allowing for a broader fleet of entries. The ClubSwan 28 earned overall Boat of the Year, the Dragonfly 36 as Best Multihull, the Melges 19 as Best Dinghy, the Saffier 24 Lite as Best Club Racer and the BirdyFish S as Best Foiler. The following nominees were also put the test, and while not emerging as category winners, our Boat of the Year judges (Monica Morgan, Mike Ingham, and Dobbs Davis) all agreed there’s something for everyone in this fleet.
