Horizon Yachts Unveils FD108 Tri-Deck

Horizon Yachts launched the new FD108 tri-deck superyacht on Tuesday in what the company describes as a tour de force customized for entertainment and accommodation for groups of guests.

According to a press release from the Kaohsiung, Taiwan-based yacht building company, the new superyacht builds on the success of Horizon’s Ocean Lily–a FD75 flybridge model introduced in 2021. The 33-meter luxury vessel is the result of teamwork between a youthful owner’s flair, Horizon Yachts and interior design by yacht designer Cor D. Rover.

“The repeat owner of [the] new tri-deck FD108 requested a number of customizations, resulting in a yacht that features one of the most unique layouts found on an FD Series yacht to date,” Lily Li, marketing coordinator at Horizon Yachts, told Yachting. “Flexibility in design and construction is one of the distinctive features that distinguishes Horizon from other yacht builders and allows for each yacht to suit the individual owner’s lifestyle. We are happy to build another dream yacht for this owner again!”

Crafted with precise attention to detail, the FD108 blends luxurious living with a plethora of entertainment options. Large sliding glass doors welcome guests into the full-beam skylounge, a dedicated karaoke room with oversized sofas, an 85-inch TV and a BMB karaoke sound system. The entire salon is surrounded by sole-to-ceiling windows.

A table comfortably seats 14 for  dining, accompanied by a teppanyaki BBQ grill and other professional-grade galley equipment to starboard. The pilot house incorporates a captain’s cabin–a rare feature in Horizon’s FD series. On the foredeck, U-shaped seating and foldable sun pads are available for a day of sunbathing. The on-deck master stateroom features a hostess dressing table and a Hästens mattress along with natural light from the forward deck.

The FD108’s twin MAN V-12 engines boast 2,000 horsepower each, and its Twin Sole diesel generators provide 59 kW of electricity to power hotel loads when away from the dock. The yacht is equipped with a swim platform, a gym and laundry room, and four en suite staterooms equipped with a combination of queen-size beds and bunks to accommodate the growing cruising family.
