Looking for a stylish motoryacht to cruise over the horizon? Rho Boat, a 2007 96’ Hargrave is reportedly in immaculate condition. It’s listed with Atlantic Yacht & Ship and has an asking price of $2.49 million. 

According to the listing, this 96′ Hargrave’s “swept-back tear-drop windows, gleaming stainless steel, traditional teak decks and vibrant exterior cushions are just a few of the many features that make this boat so appealing.” More than 52 percent of Hargrave owners have gone on to build their next vessel with Hargrave, says Atlantic Yacht & Ship

Rho Boat is powered with twin 1,800 hp Caterpillar C-32 Acert diesels and has a reported top-end speed of 18 knots, but at 12 knots range is about 1,000 nautical miles.

Step aboard at the port and starboard midship boarding gates or via the steps flanking the Euro transom. The yacht’s swim platform has a new SeaDek sole. The aft deck is shaded by flybridge overhang and it has pull-down sun screens to port and starboard. There is a cushioned bench seat with a double-pedestal teak table with teak chairs that can seat 10. A wet bar here includes a sink, ice maker, refrigerator and stowage.

Feel like grilling? There is a barbecue at the flybridge. The flybridge can be accessed from the pilothouse or from a ladder in the cockpit. Rho Boat was outfitted with a wet bar that includes a gas grill, dual gas stovetop, granite countertops, sink, ice maker and four stainless-steel pedestal bar stools aft of the helm station. Enjoy your meal in the open-air at a C-shaped dinette across from the wet bar shaded by the flybridge hardtop, or at the U-shaped bench seat with high-low pedestal table, which converts to a sun pad. A large umbrella can be opened to provide shade on the flybridge’s aft deck. The aft deck also has room to stow for an 18-foot tender, and a day head.

Rho Boat has a lower helm station and a flybridge helm, both offering clean sightlines. Two Stidd bench seats are on the flybridge, which sit atop large stowage lockers. The salon is accessed through a stainless-steel trimmed automatic sliding door from the aft deck. Immediately to port is a 55-inch flat- screen TV on a custom built Sapelli wood corner unit. A white-fabric, L-shaped sofa with throw pillows is forward of the TV. A glass-top table with stowage complements the corner. Across to starboard are two electric recliners next to a bar with three stainless-steel pedestal stools. Bar features include a Selvia marble top, an ice maker and liquor and glass stowage. Just forward of the bar is a custom cabinet with refrigerator, glass storage and a sailfish statue. All the way forward is a crystal display cabinet with custom shelving to prevent movement underway. 

The central dining table is designed for a seating of eight and boasts Sapelli and Maitore wood in a high-gloss finish with cream-colored parson chairs. The dining area is further accented by a Tiffany-style dome light fixture, which cascades subtle hints of color around the room. There are two more crystal display cabinets, one to port and one forward. There is an abundance of high-gloss cabinets with custom china sets, china teapot and serving sets and silverware settings.

The full beam galley is forward and has a teak-and-holly sole. It has granite countertops, an island countertop, four Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer drawers and more, allowing chefs to arrange almost any type of meal guests request. Serve guests at a forward breakfast nook, or easily entertain a group of friends in the salon and aft deck areas. Galley appliances include the following:

There is sizable stowage space, including his-and-hers walk-in closets, his-and-hers heads with marble countertops, high-gloss cabinets and a marble shower stall with privacy glass and multiple shower heads. The VIP is accessed from the staircase just forward of the galley. High-gloss wood veneers, an en suite head with shower, mirrored forward bulkhead and recessed LED overhead lights will ensure guests feel as if they were home. A cedar-lined hanging locker and an abundance of cabinets and drawers provide plenty of stowage to keep your guests comfortable on an extended cruise. Two additional guest staterooms are forward of the master stateroom with two raised double berths each, and crew quarters can be accessed through the crew companionway, including a private captain’s cabin.
