Looking for an owner-operator-size pilothouse motoryacht to cruise the West Coast from Alaska to Mexico? Pastabilities, a 2007 Ocean Alexander 64’ Pilothouse, has a three-stateroom, two-head layout with a spacious salon and fully equipped galley. This yacht has an asking price of $1.195 million.

The hull of Pastabilities was built with hand-laid, gelcoated fiberglass and an AL 600 core in the hull sides and superstructure. The flybridge is covered with a fiberglass hardtop and the pilothouse is enclosed with polycarbonate panels. The aft deck of the flybridge, which accommodates a tender (not included in sale), along with an extendable awning provides shade to the cockpit area below. The cockpit has a teak sole. Guests can easily board Pastabilities from port and starboard side boarding gates, or via the swim platform that leads up to the cockpit. A non-slip fiberglass staircase leads guests from the cockpit to the flybridge.

The yacht’s cockpit is spacious and has four cushioned wood chairs with a table where guests can enjoy an alfresco meal while using the electric barbecue. With easy access to the swim platform, guests can take a dive into the ocean or board the tender for an excursion to a private beach. Use the aft-deck shower to rinse off after a swim. Docking stations on each side of the cockpit allow the captain to easily dock Pastabilities. Sun pads on the bow allow four to five guests to comfortably rest while catching a few rays.

Pastabilities pilothouse has a U-shaped dinette with a Burlwood-top table, a wet bar and a wood sole, allowing guests to enjoy the open-air atmosphere and panoramic views with the captain while cruising. Two Stidd captain’s chairs with stainless-steel frames are at the helm, which has a reconfigured console with new Garmin navigation systems wrapped with black ultraleather. Twin 825 hp MTU diesel engines will reportedly push Pastabilities to a cruising speed of 18 knots with a range around 450 nautical miles and a top speed of 24 knots. The captain has an uninterrupted 360-degree view of the surrounding waters from the pilothouse.

Alexander Marine USA stated that “the 2007 64′ Ocean Alexander Pilot House Pastabilities is in mint condition and a definite show-stopper. She has been maintained to the highest standards and is by far the cleanest and best equipped motoryacht in this size range on the market today. Featuring low-hour (1,911) reliable twin MTU Series 60 825 hp main engines and twin Northern Lights 20 & 12 KW generators. Quality is evident everywhere you look. The teak decks are in great condition and the gelcoat shines like new. If you are in the market for a “Best in Class” midsize motor yacht, your search is over! This was one of the most expensive OA 64’s ever built!! Ready for Alaska, Canada, or Mexico cruising; nothing needs to be added.”

The motoryacht’s galley is located abaft the lower helm station, but still centrally located to easily serve guests in the salon, cockpit and on flybridge, which can be accessed from a set of stairs in the galley to port. Windows flanking the galley, along with three large windscreens, allow natural light to illuminate the helm and galley space. The galley is U-shaped with a Franke double sink, 12″ Trash compactor, 18″ Miele dishwasher and plenty of granite countertop space for meal preparation. Have breakfast with your family in the galley dinette located to port across from the lower helm, and enjoy lunch on the flybridge. Almost any type of meal can be prepared in the galley using the 24″ Gaggenau electric oven, 27″ Gaggenau electric cooktop or GE Profile Advantium microwave and convection oven. Keep your cold goods stowed in a full-sized Amana refrigerator/freezer and dry goods in the abundant teak-paneled cabinets and drawers available.

The salon can be accessed through a glass door from the cockpit or down a few steps abaft the helm/galley area. The new carpet and upholstery is very cozy with plenty of seating on a portside sofa or a starboard side L-shaped sofa with coffee table. Large side windows allow natural light to flow into the salon, but window shades can be lowered when privacy is desired. A small dinette seats four, but the table flips to a game table for those looking for an evening card game or more. Catch a movie on the 40″ Samsung TV using the high-definition Intellian satellite/receiver while sipping on a glass of wine from the 15″ wine cooler.

After a long day in the sun, owners and guests can retire to one of three staterooms. The master stateroom has a queen-sized berth with an innerspring mattress and drawers underneath, Ultraleather headboard, two night stands, dressing mirror and a bureau with chest of drawers. A cedar-lined full length hanging locker will keep your clothes from wrinkling, and lets owners stow valuables. Enjoy some privacy with an ensuite head with shower, and take advantage of the stackable washer/dryer on extended excursions. The VIP stateroom has a queen-sized berth with a innerspring mattress and stowage drawers underneath, dressing mirror, cedar-lined hanging locker and ensuite head with shower. Guests can dive into a book or watch TV on a 20″ LCD TV before enjoying a good night’s rest. The final guest stateroom has side-by-side twin berths, but the starboard berth has been converted to a custom built red wine cabinet with built-in cabinets and drawers.

Where is Pastabilities located? The yacht is currently lying in Newport Beach, California.
