HMY Yacht Sales has Rock On, a 2019 Princess Yachts S60, listed at $2.149 million. The nearly 38-knot, 60-foot sportbridge yacht is equal parts performance and entertainment thanks to its efficient hull form and well-appointed social spaces.

Rock On reaches its aforementioned 38-knot top hop thanks to optional 1,200 hp MAN V-8 diesels. The 60-footer has a 29-knot cruise speed, and it’s worth noting the engines have only 390 hours. The yacht has also spent its entire life on freshwater.

“While sport-bridge models are occasionally maligned as nothing more than a compromise between a motoryacht and an express cruiser, the Princess S60 represents a solid counterargument to that gripe. There simply isn’t a whole lot of half-stepping to this yacht,” Yachting previously reported. 

The main deck features a social-friendly, aft-galley layout, which makes serving the salon and cockpit seamless. The galley has its meal-prep space to port, while an L-shaped dinette offers an interior dining space directly to starboard. Galley appliances and features include:

• 3-zone ceramic cooktop
• Combination microwave/conventional oven with grill
• Stainless-steel sink with mixer tap
• Full-height refrigerator and freezer
• Avonite countertops
• Wood sole in galley and dining area

Forward, the salon’s lounge area features a U-shaped settee and ottoman to port with a flat-screen TV hidden in the cabinets to starboard, abaft the two-seat lower helm station. There is nearly 360 degrees of glass surrounding the main deck, but If guests desire more  light or a breezer, just open up the electrically operated sunroof over the forward section of the salon.

The S60’s cockpit double dips with its transom space, combining a lounge pad aft with a U-shaped settee and high-gloss teak folding table forward, giving guests the opportunity to sunbathe after a morning swim and move straight into an alfresco lunch. The sportbridge overhang shades the area.

Stairs to port lead up to the sportbridge where guests will find a wrap-around dinette aft with a high-gloss teak table. The two-seat helm station is forward and to port with additional bench seating directly to starboard. Most of the seating on the sportbridge enjoys shade throughout the day thanks to its Bimini top.

The foredeck for this 60-footer is impressive. Princess was able to fit a U-shaped settee abaft a full-size sun pad, setting up a space that can offer sunbathing or lounging with cocktails.

After a long day of enjoying Rock On’s inside and outside amenities, guests can retire to one of three staterooms belowdecks, all of which benefit from ambient light via hullside windows.

The full-beam master stateroom amidships has a king berth, a flat-screen TV, a sofa to port, and an en suite head. The forepeak VIP has a double berth, a flat-screen TV and an en suite head, while the final guest stateroom has single berths that convert to a double.
