The Azimut Yachts 80 Fly called Deep Blue is currently for sale with MarineMax with an asking price of $3.69 million. The 2018 build has chic lines, 31-knot speed and a layout aimed at family cruising fun.

“Azimut designer Stefano Righini got the exterior just right, creating a flybridge and hardtop that enhance the aggressive, but not too racy, lines of the hull,” Yachting previously reported. “In the profile view, the 80 is quite sleek and proportional. From the stern, she has even more attractive symmetry: The superstructure tapers in where it joins the hull, and then flares outward as the flybridge takes over from the salon. Righini thought through the geometry, using straight lines with subtle curves and sharp angles, including a large, blue-mirrored panel at the base of the radar arch that looks like one of the salon windows from a distance.

The yacht’s salon has near sole-to-ceiling windows with natural light bathing the space, enhancing the sense of internal volume. The forward section of the salon is a formal dining area with seating for eight at an oval-shaped table. Guests get ocean views out those sizable windows. After meals, the two sofas to port and starboard with an additional loveseat to starboard beckon guests to relax and chat.

Deep Blue’s galley has two countertops worth of meal-prep space and is equipped with stowage, a stainless-steel sink, an electric cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator drawer and a freezer drawer. The lower helm station, which is outfitted with Raymarine electronics, is forward and to starboard with an L-shaped dinette to port.

Time to turn in for the night? Guests will find the four stateroom belowdecks, all with en suite heads.

  • Full-beam (20’3″) amidships master stateroom: centerline king berth
  • Forepeak VIP stateroom: centerline double berth
  • Starboard guest stateroom: twin single berths
  • Port guest stateroom: double berth

The swim platform on Deep Blue doubles as its tender stowage. Stairs flanking the transom lead up to the cockpit where up to eight guests can enjoy shaded alfresco dining at the U-shaped settee and fixed table.

When it’s time to catch some sun after a morning swim, guests can head to the foredeck where a U-shaped settee and table sit abaft a three-person sun pad.

The after section of the flybridge has space to house the SeaDoo PWC next to the grill station and Davit system. Forward to starboard is a two-person sun pad that sits back-to-back with a U-shaped dinette. A second U-shaped dinette is forward and to port, directly adjacent to the two-seat helm station. If the captain needs to dial in the desired sunlight, there’s a retractable sunroof.

Low-hour (375) 1,800 hp MAN V12 diesels provide power for Deep Blue, giving it a reported 31-knot top hop. Expect its best economical cruise speed to be 8.5 knots where it burns only 9 gallons per hour, though it can cruise at 21 knots burning a relatively economical 99 gallons per hour.
