The 2021 Viking 80, Lucky Wave, is a former Viking factory demo boat which has low hours and plenty of extra features. It’s offered by HMY Yacht Sales for $7.995 million.
This 80 has a forward island queen bunk forward, with a total of five staterooms and five heads. It also has a large U-shaped sofa in the salon, with Viking’s usual rod storage beneath the raised dinette.
The salon features satin-finished joinery and plenty of seating for entertaining guests when not fishing.

Features and notable upgrades include:
- MTU 16V2000 M96L 2635 hp engines with extended warranty until October 2025, with the ability to purchase additional coverage
- SeaKeeper 35 gyrostabilizer with extended warranty until October 2025

- Dinnteco lighting protection installed February 2023
- Two RiteAir dehumidification systems installed June 2024

The MTU main engines have just 1,250 hours on them as of March 1, 2025. The twin Kohler generators are at 850 hours.
Yachting previously wrote: “Thanks to weight-saving techniques throughout the boat—including a Kevlar-infused hull, carbon-fiber laminate in the deckhouse and hardtop, and a smoother running bottom with strut cones and many of the pickups flush-mounted—this 145,461-pound battlewagon moved through the water at 41-plus knots at her top end, with a comfortable 2,100 rpm cruise of 35.2 knots. She carved precise turns at those 35-knot speeds and backed down with nimbleness, assurance and control as the electric tabs automatically retracted. I had the feeling of hitting the throttles and letting raw power take over as she jumped out of the hole. Once you get your hands on the wheel, it’s hard to let go.”
