For yacht owners who really want to make a statement on the water, the best way is to go with a highly creative design. A good example is the Wallywhy150. The 2023 78-foot Matzu II has the profile of a concept yacht and the engineering for global capability. It’s located in Miami, Florida, and offered by Allied Marine for $6.89 million.

With just 650 hours on its triple 1,000 hp Volvo D13 IPS 1350 engines as of fall 2025, Matzu II also has engine warranties valid through March 2027 with an optional three-year extension also available. There’s also a factory warranty through March 2026 as well. The vessel is equipped with electrical conversion for European waters and also has both gyro and fin stabilization to keep it as comfortable as possible for guests. The metallic Power Grey paint stands out as well.

Yachting previously wrote: “Wally has always been a disrupter in the yacht world. For more than 30 years, its team has taken what came before, stripped away everything but function, and rethought just about every other aspect. The results have included the original wallytender, the unique wallypower 118, and, more recently, various wallytenders and wallypowers. The trend continues with the 78-foot-8-inch Wallywhy150, whose model name refers to volume.

The Wallywhy150 is a two-and-a-half-deck design with around 150 gross tons—a spec we don’t often see with yachts this length, but, again, Wally likes to do things differently. The “why” bit of wallywhy is an acronym for Wally Hybrid Yachts, which has nothing to do with hybrid propulsion, but rather references hulls that are optimized for a range of displacement and semidisplacement cruising speeds.”

According to the brokerage team at Allied Marine, the vessel is loaded with virtually every factory option and has massive interior volume plus iconic Wally styling. “A premium Miami marina slip is also transferable to the next owner,” they say, “so this is a rare opportunity for a fast-moving, design-forward buyer without the wait for a new build.” They say the vessel is already enrolled in a highly profitable charter program, offering immediate post-sale income.

The master stateroom is located on the main deck and features 270 degrees of wraparound glass for unbeatable views from all angles. The engines provide a 23-knot top hop and a 20-knot cruise.

Where is Matzu II located? The vessel is currently lying in Miami, Florida.
