Apreamare, the Sorrento, Italy-based boatbuilder, known for its midsize cruisers with rounded-stern designs, will debut its Gozzo 48 Cabin model at the Düsseldorf Boat Show.
The yacht is the builder’s Gozzo series flagship, which also includes a 35- and 38-footer. The Gozzo 48 Cabin has an interior and exterior design from Marco Casali and naval architecture from Umberto Tagliavini.
The foredeck has double-stitched benchseating and sunpads creating an on-the-hook oasis for owners and guests.

Casali, an architect and designer, is known for his wide-ranging portfolio with builders such as ISA, Columbus, Silent Yachts, Itama and Canados. More than 1,500 of Casali’s designs can be found in marinas across the globe. Tagliavini also has an extensive résumé, with hull forms created for yacht builders such as Numarine and Forte, among countless others.
The Gozzo 48 Cabin’s near-plumb bow has a deep forefoot and it carries volume forward, allowing for an interior with two or three staterooms. In the three-stateroom setup, there is an owner’s space forward and two mirrored staterooms abaft the master stateroom, each with side-by-side berths. The two-stateroom configuration swaps out the portside stateroom for a galley. In either scenario, there are two heads and a crew cabin with a single berth is all the way aft.

The yacht’s trunk-cabin design, hullside glazing, glass along the trunk cabin’s sides and nearly 360 degrees of glass in the superstructure all add to the sense of light, space and volume.
Wide side decks, deep bulwarks and sleekly designed stainless-steel handrails ensure safe transit from the cockpit to the foredeck. The cockpit is equipped with a convertible sunpad for three, which can also serve as beanchseating by flipping the backrest. A shade extends from the vessel’s hardtop and attaches to two poles at the stern to shade the cockpit when desired.
Opening the sliding-glass doors creates a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.

The Gozoo 48 Cabin’s salon has a long settee with a table to starboard. The helm, also to starboard, is forward with an adjustable benchseat. A window next to the helm slides open for breezes as do the sliding glass doors aft.
Power options for the Apreamare Gozzo 48 Cabin are from Volvo Penta and include 600 hp D8 straight-shaft diesels or IPS700s. Projected cruise speeds are 24 and 25 knots, respectively. The yacht’s cruise-speed range is reportedly 235 nautical miles with the D8s and 320 nautical miles with the IPS diesels. Top-end speeds are said to be 30 knots with the straight-shaft option and 31 knots with the IPS diesels.
Inside, a starboard-side salon settee and dining table offer a relaxed, climate-controlled gathering space.
