Leading Marine Companies Recognized

Boating’s sibling media outlet, Soundings Trade Only, the B-to-B leader in the marine industry, announced the companies honored with its new and  prestigious EPIC Awards at the recent IBEX trade show.

The individual category winners are:

• Development and Technology: Dometic and Scout Boats
• Work Culture: Garmin
• Altruism: Correct Craft
• Manufacturing Process/Supply Chain: Tiara Yachts
• Sustainability: Suzuki Marine
• Training: AkzoNobel (honorable mention: ABYC)

This award – created to honor Exceptional, Purposeful, Innovative, Compassionate companies — was presented during a special pre-show meeting on the  second day of IBEX.

The EPIC Awards (formerly known as the Most Innovative Company Awards) are judged by a panel of journalists and industry experts. Entrants are evaluated in a range of categories: Altruism/Social Awareness, Development & Technology, Work Culture, Manufacturing Process/Supply Chains, Start-Ups, and Sustainability. In addition to winners for each category, an overall Top EPIC Award is bestowed to the company rated best by the judges across all categories.
