Looking for a yacht with a more contemporary style and a comfortable feel? Hargrave’s 76’ Lady C II might be the boat for you. Many words like elegant, luxurious and beautiful are used when describing Lady C II. Bespoke maybe? Say that word in America and you’ll get a quizzical look in response. But drop it to an Englishman, and it will conjure visions of engraved Purdey shotguns, pinstriped Gieves & Hawkes suits and custom shoes from James Taylor & Son, which advertises itself as “bespoke shoemakers since 1857.” Bespoke is so far beyond “custom” that it defies definition. Step on board the swim platform of the Lady C II and climb the stairs all the way up to the flybridge where you will find plenty of shaded seating with a beautiful high-gloss teak table under the hardtop. There are twin helm seats and easy access to the single-level controls that allow the captain to throttle up the 1,550 MAN diesels to propel this yacht up to a top speed of 24 knots, or a comfortable cruising speed of 18 knots. The captain has plenty of toys at his disposal while piloting the Lady C II, including bow and stern thrusters to help maneuver the yacht while docking, and the following navigational equipment while out on the open waters:

Sneak out onto the foredeck where you will find plenty of cushioned seats for guests, or sunbathe on a sun pad that can be partially shaded, if you choose to break out the convertible top. Mingle back to the aft deck, which is shaded by the flybridge overhang, where you will find more upholstered cushion seats and table to get out of the sunlight and enjoy lunch with the family. From the aft deck, enter the sliding glass doors into the spacious salon area, which also opens to the pilothouse.
