We Idle In is a classic 1986 DeFever 57 that has had several upgrades but yet has always retained its classic style. The vessel can accommodate six overnight guests in three staterooms and is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines. We Idle In is located in Jupiter, Florida, and offered by Curtis Stokes and Associates for $385,000.
Twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines with a combined 750 horsepower and just over 6,000 engine hours will push this vessel up to a top speed of 15 knots, but dialing it back to a 9-knot cruise speed will greatly increase fuel efficiency and range. Recent clean oil analysis reports on the engines are available. There are two generators for power while away from the dock: a Northern Lights 12-kW with approximately 2,015 hours and a second Northern Lights 2.3 20-kW generator with approximately 4,315 hours, as of summer 2025.

The flybridge can be accessed from a ladder in the cockpit or a set of stairs in the pilothouse. The flybridge features a center helm with a Garelick Eez-In helmseat, L-shape settee with stowage to port, bench-style settee with stowage to starboard, non-skid deck all shaded by a canvas over aluminum frame bimini. A tender can be stowed on the aft deck and easily launched using the tender davit.

The salon features an L-shape sofa with stowage and coffee table to port, a dinette that expands to seat six port forward, a bench-style settee and a companionway to the master stateroom and engine room to starboard.
