The new Parker Boats 294 Fathom stands as the product of innovation marrying tradition. This new Parker is powered by twin Yamaha engines with a maximum horsepower of 700. We have not yet run this boat, but have decades of experience aboard Parker’s boats. Carolina-bred, its rugged build and hull design couples with the Yamaha propulsion and the Seakeeper Ride system that should deliver confident handling on the water.

It offers a self-bailing cockpit, which is a must for any boat on big water in our opinion. Its Coosa board transom won’t rot and the fiberglass liner promises smooth style and easy maintenance. Parker adheres to the strict construction and rigging standards of the American Boat and Yacht Council and the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The 294 Fathom offers comfort and elegance on plush bow lounges with backrests. Couple this with the foldaway transom bench, customizable upholstery and perhaps a sun shade, and the 294 Fathom should serve nicely on sandbar days. A head in the console only adds to the comfort and convenience.

At the helm, the console features Garmin electronics to help you stay on course and find the fish. Overhead, a fiberglass T-top with powder-coated framework boasts nine rocket launchers, an electronics box, integrated LED spreader lights, speaker pods, LED courtesy lights, and two kingfish rod holders. With options such as a trolling motor or windlass, each 294 Fathom boat can be made unique.

Parker is, as of this writing, offering its boats at what it calls nationally advertised prices (NAP). This is a no-haggle price that you can buy a boat for. Hence, both the manufacturer’s suggested retail price and NAP are shown above.

Parker, for all its salty tradition, crafted the 294 Fathom with a fresh, modern mindset. This boat blends the beating heart of serious anglers with the desire to create memories with family and friends afloat. If that sounds like you, don’t place a down payment until you have seen this new Parker 294 Fathom.
