For Sale: Viking 46 Billfish

Viking Yacht Company noted the need for a series of midsize diesel-powered inboard sport-fishing boats which were equipped to fish hard right out of the box, with minimal frills. The result was the Billfish series, and it was immediately successful. The 2021 Viking 46 Billfish known as Damfino is an excellent example of that mindset. It’s located in St. Petersburg, Florida, and offered by Galati Yacht Sales for $1.595 million.

Among the many additional options offered, Damfino is equipped with a Seakeeper 6 gyrostabilizer, a watermaker and an Eskimo ice chipper. It also has helm air conditioning and updated Garmin electronics. Power is supplied by a pair of 800 hp MAN I6 engines with straight shafts for reliability. According to the brokerage team at Galati, the engines have just 475 hours on them as of January 2026.

Yachting previously wrote: “Like its smaller siblings, the 46 Billfish has an open, salonlike command deck with a U-shaped lounge and dinette to port and a settee to starboard. There is canvas aft instead of a solid bulkhead; skippers can open it to enjoy the sea breeze or seal it and pump in air conditioning. Rod stowage is under the seating, and the command-deck design lets hardcore anglers walk in from the cockpit and relax for a moment or two without having to worry about tracking fish gore onto a carpet. Every square inch of the command deck can be washed down.”

Belowdecks is a single stateroom and head with shower for overnight trips.
